Now that you've cut or burned the EX's face out of some of your favorite pictures (later there will be a tutorial on Photoshopping him out altogether and replacing him with Anthony Head, George Clooney, Robert Downey Jr. etc. etc. etc.) you need to get these pretties back on the wall.
Remember all those tacky picture frames you got as wedding gifts with the names and dates engraved on them?
Well, get out your grinders, girls! We're re-purposing those puppies!
Most metal frames can be sanded smooth with sandpaper and steel wool. Some brass frames might need a sander or a grinder.
And a polishing wheel on a grinder leaves a lovely finish.
If it's silver, call around and see if it can't be re-plated.

A brief introduction...
I am going through a horrendous divorce from a man I was pretty happily married to for twenty years. Long story short, he got mid-life crisis-itis and is now trying to pass himself off as a thirty-year-old hipster. I was left to pick up the pieces. Some of these pieces are quite painful, so I'm attempting to make lemonade out of these lemons. If you're going through a divorce and some of my ideas help you, namaste. And happy crafting!
